14 Best-Selling Books Becoming Movies in 2018 (Our Top Picks)

If you’re an avid reader and love book-to-movie adaptations of your favorite stories, then 2018 releases won’t disappoint! I don’t know about you, but this kind of news is encouraging and really makes me want to catch up on my reading so I can do the normal comparisons and see the book come to life. 

The highly anticipated films include Where’d You Go, Bernadette, A Wrinkle in Time, and of course, the last movie of the trilogy by E. L. James, Fifty Shades Freed! 

If you’re like me and love watching films that are based on books (the kind that keeps your attention), then you’ll be interested in today’s list of books becoming movies in 2018. Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to read them all before they come out! But I would start now if I were you.

1. Fifty Shades Freed (by E. L. James)

The plot: Believing they have left behind shadowy figures from their past, newlyweds Christian and Ana fully embrace an inextricable connection and shared life of luxury. But just as she steps into her role as Mrs. Grey and he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats could jeopardize their happy ending before it even begins.

Who’s starring in it: Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson fill the shoes of Christian and Ana again, while newcomers like Arielle Kebbel will join the last movie of the Fifty Shades trilogy.

5. Peter Rabbit (by Beatrix Potter)

The plot: The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published by Frederick Warne in 1902 and endures as Beatrix Potter’s most popular and well-loved tale. The feature adaptation follows the story of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden.

Who’s starring in it: voice roles played by James Corden, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki and Sia, and live action roles played by Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne and Sam Neill.
